Fa-Fak-Fake? Fake News??

Fake News? It is exactly what it says in the name, news that is fake. Fake news is news that is created to mislead or spread false information to one and another. It is quite an easy way to garner attention, clicks, or views from the media as it is seen as clickbait and can be found anywhere within the internet. It is almost quite easy to believe fake news, as fake news are usually written around what the general public would want to hear or listen towards if it is something they believe in. Basically they as capitalizing on sometimes a large majority or a select few of a group's biases. It may be hard to avoid fake news, since they sometimes create articles based on your own biases so, some of the counters to this or my personal counter is that I usually try to research more about it online. If I cannot find more information on the fake news from other sources, then it is easy to understand what you may be reading is fake.

Although it may be a hassle to fact check every information that you are receiving, it may almost seem easier to give up and just believe what you read. However a suggestion that I would sometimes go through as well, is to sometimes actually read the entirety of the article. As reading beyond the title, sometimes makes the article almost clearly obvious that the title is fake, or either the information provided is clearly biased and is trying to reach to a specific audience.
